CNC Tool Grinding Technician (Entry-Level)
Location:
LaGrange, GA 30240 (Onsite)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 12:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., including a one-hour unpaid meal period (initial assigned shift; shifts, working hours, overtime, and weekend work are subject to change based on business needs)

SANGWOO PRECISION USA, INC.
is a precision manufacturing company specializing in the resharpening and production of cutting tools. This entry-level position provides hands-on experience in various production tasks, including machine operation, tool measurement and inspection, tool classification, and packaging and delivery. This role offers opportunities to develop practical skills in:
  • Tool grinding
  • CNC machine operation
  • Tool measurement
  • Production records New hires will receive structured on-the-job training and, over time, may take on more specialized technical and operational responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Tool Grinding Operations
  • Learn the setup and operation of CNC tool grinders, including ANCA equipment, through structured on-the-job training
  • Perform tool grinding and resharpening operations in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality requirements
  • Progress toward independent operation of assigned CNC grinding equipment upon completion of required training and demonstration of competency Tool Classification and Inventory Handling
  • Sort and organize incoming cutting tools (drills, end mills, reamers) by type and brand
  • Assist with scheduling and prioritization of resharpening tasks Equipment Maintenance
  • Perform routine maintenance on key equipment such as CNC grinders (ANCA), broach machines, and air compressors after appropriate training
  • Tasks include oil refilling, filter replacement, and moisture drainage Tool Inspection and Quality Check
  • Use ZOLLER measuring equipment to inspect tool dimensions after resharpening
  • Record data and report any measurements that fall outside of tolerances Packaging and Delivery
  • Apply laser markings and labels to finished tools
  • Package products and prepare shipments according to delivery schedules
  • Make local deliveries using a Company vehicle as assigned Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (no specific major required)
  • Interest in manufacturing, production, or hands-on technical work
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, email)
  • Physical capability to lift and handle tools up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Company vehicle insurance requirements Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in manufacturing or production environments
  • Familiarity with CNC machines or measurement tools
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to reliably report to the LaGrange, GA worksite for the scheduled shift Compensation & Benefits
Pay :
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
  • Typical schedule: 40 hours per week
  • Overtime will be paid in accordance with applicable federal and state law.
