Job Description

Deburrer / Metal Finishing Technician - $22-$28/hr Schulte Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Deburrer / Metal Finishing Technician for a precision manufacturing facility in Peabody, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in deburring, metal finishing, or machine shop operations. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with precision-machined metal components.

On-site, precision manufacturing facility Key Responsibilities Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from precision-machined metal components. Use hand tools, files, grinders, sanders, and deburring equipment to finish parts. Inspect finished components for quality, accuracy, and surface finish. Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing specifications. Perform polishing, blending, and surface finishing as required. Use basic measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers, to verify part specifications. Handle finished components carefully to prevent damage. Identify and report defects or quality concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Work closely with machinists and quality personnel to meet production requirements. Qualifications Previous experience in deburring, metal finishing, grinding, or precision manufacturing preferred. Experience working with CNC-machined metal components is a plus. Familiarity with hand tools, grinders, sanders, and deburring equipment. Ability to read blueprints or manufacturing work instructions preferred. Basic knowledge of precision measuring tools is a plus. Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and maintain consistent quality standards.
