Summary - Varies Based on Department Operate various CNC Grinders and or manual grinders, OD, surface, etc and read blueprints to create machined parts to specifications. Follow requirements to set up fixturing, cutting tools, etc. to complete job. Calculate feeds, speeds, and depths of cut. Ability to adjust program and tool parameters to achieve quality standards. Ability to read and interpret CNC Programs. Verify dimensions for conformance with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring equipment. Maintain machine and work area cleanliness, perform minor machine maintenance. Complete work safely, to quality specs, and within an acceptable time. Troubleshoot any issues that come through your department Set up, operate, and maintain various grinding machines, surface grinding, OD, Bryant ID griding, etc. Report various metrics as needed Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Communication skills, able to communicate well and motivate a team.
