Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine grinding requirements. Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards. Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or related field preferred. Proven experience as a Surface Grinder or similar role in a manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of grinding techniques and machine operation. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
