Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor thread rolling machines to produce threaded parts according to technical specifications and blueprints Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining and threading processes Use precision measuring instruments to inspect finished components for quality, ensuring compliance with specifications Maintain safety protocols during machine operation, including proper use of hand tools and safety equipment Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on thread rolling equipment to minimize downtime Document production activities accurately, including measurements, process adjustments, and quality inspections Requirements Proven experience operating thread rolling machines or similar metal forming equipment in a manufacturing setting Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately Skilled in using measuring instruments for quality control and precision measurement in machining processes Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including proper press operation and machine setup procedures Ability to work with hand tools, sheet metal fabrication techniques, and forming machines efficiently Basic math skills including shop math necessary for measurements and calculations during machining processes Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and quality inspection standards Embark on a career where your skills make a tangible impact!
