Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently operate and tune deburring machinery and grinding equipment.
• Meticulously finish components, addressing sharp edges and extra material.
• Execute light grinding tasks to improve weld finishes and surface quality.
• Thoroughly inspect and size-check parts against technical specifications.
• Adhere to job orders and process documentation to complete all tasks in sequence.
• Supervise machinery operation, troubleshooting and modifying as needed.
• Accurately set up tools, fixtures, and other machine accessories.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across different shifts to communicate production requirements and address production challenges.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and safety standards of the workspace.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• At least 2 years' experience in a deburring role or equivalent demonstrable expertise.
• Proficient in using calipers and manual inspection tools.
• Knowledge of tool holders, cutting implements, and associated accessories.
• Capable of operating hoists, hand trucks, conveyors, and lifts.
• Competency in reading and interpreting work instructions and technical specifications.
• Solid mathematical skills, especially in geometry and algebra.
• Preferable familiarity with ERP systems like Epicor 10.
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is advantageous.
• Adaptability and meticulousness in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, climb ladders, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity for handling machinery and using computer systems.
• Detect and react appropriately to hazardous situations and alerts.
• Clear verbal communication is essential, both in person and via phone.
