We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented die setter to join our team at Dependable Stamping Company. As part of the production team, you will engage in loading coils of sheet metal onto presses, loading stamping dies into presses, setting presses/fixtures, and assisting operators on as needed basis. Objectives of this role Setting presses and fixtures Loading coils of sheet metal onto various presses Installing and/or loading stamping dies onto the presses Inspecting products for quality assurance Troubleshooting issues with equipment Utilizing precision measuring tools to ensure products are made to specifications (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.) Maintaining a clean and safe workplace environment Other production or general labor tasks may be assigned by management as needed Required Skills & Qualification High School Diploma or GED Excellent oral and written communication as well as great people skills Adaptability and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment 1 - 3 years' stamping or equivalent die setter experience 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with stamping machines ranging from 35 - 400 tons; both single hit and automatic Ability to use calipers and a basic understanding of print reading Mechanically inclined Ability to operate tow motors Strong attention to detail
