Additional $0.55 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Position Summary Mecca Talent is seeking dependable Secondary/Grinding Machine Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Massillon, Ohio. In this role, you will operate a variety of secondary processing equipment, perform basic quality inspections, and ensure finished parts meet production standards. This position is ideal for individuals with previous manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality. Essential ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation Safely operate secondary processing and grinding equipment. Load and unload parts weighing between 0.5 and 9.8 pounds . Verify machine safety before beginning production. Review setup instructions and quality checkpoints prior to operation. Push parts through machines according to established production procedures. Deburr finished parts and remove any excess material or imperfections. Inspect parts using basic gauges and visual inspection methods to ensure quality standards are met. Package completed parts into boxes and stack on pallets for material handling. Quality Control Perform routine visual inspections throughout production. Use simple measuring gauges to verify part compliance. Report quality concerns or machine issues to supervision. Housekeeping & Safety Maintain a clean and organized work area. Clean oil, chips, and debris from machines throughout the shift. Wipe down equipment daily. Sweep and properly dispose of metal shavings and scrap material. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Safety-focused work ethic. Good hand-eye coordination. Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Frequently lift parts weighing up to 10 pounds . Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, and carry materials throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
