Tool Shop Assembly & Polishing Technician Position Summary Axium Packaging is looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our Tool Shop team! In this entry-level role, you'll help assemble, polish, and finish blow molds used to manufacture plastic bottles. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is eager to learn new skills in a manufacturing environment. No advanced machining experience is required. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and the flexibility to support different tasks as they grow in the role. What We're Looking For A positive attitude and strong work ethic Pride in producing quality work with attention to detail A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take on new challenges Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team Previous experience using hand tools or working in a tool shop is a plus, but not required Experience with manual mills and lathes is a plus Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the assembly of molds using hand tools and other shop equipment Polish, finish, and prepare mold components for final assembly Inspect components for proper fit, function, and quality Follow instructions and maintain attention to detail throughout the assembly process Identify and report any discrepancies or quality concerns to the supervisor Learn and develop additional skills, including manual machining, as experience grows Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other related duties as assigned Why Join Axium Packaging?
