•10:00 PM (Swing Shift) Job Description Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Grind & Deburr Operator for a manufacturing company in Clackamas, OR. This hands-on position involves grinding, deburring, and inspecting metal components used in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a physical manufacturing environment. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, construction, or automotive work are encouraged to apply! Responsibilities Operate air-powered grinding tools to remove excess material and meet specifications. Grind, deburr, and finish metal components according to production requirements. Read and follow work instructions, shop routers, and technical documentation. Use precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and scales. Inspect completed parts to ensure quality and accuracy. Perform basic equipment maintenance and monitor fluid and oil levels. Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors. Operate forklifts and lifting equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and production standards. Experience & Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing, grinding, deburring, or metalworking experience preferred. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments preferred. Ability to read and follow written instructions and technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to wear a respirator and required personal protective equipment. Comfortable working around machinery, airborne particles, and loud equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Schedule Swing Shift
