Job Description

Job Summary Viking Tool & Gage, Inc. is one of the largest metal fabricators in Western PA and we are looking for an individual who will have prior experience in operation of Okamoto Wet Grinders and Harig style Manual Grinders for a full-time position! (Experience with Bridgeport Mills and Trak Lathes is a bonus!) Responsibilities Operate Okamoto Wet Grinders and Harig style Manual Grinder to manufacture die components and close tolerance assemblies. Perform machining operations on tool steels, carbide, steel, and other materials.

Work with precision tools:

mics, indicators, comparators, height gages. Perform routine maintenance on the grinders. Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Work overtime as required. Requirements Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and understand basic math concepts. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This job is ideal for someone who is: Dependable Detail-oriented Independent Flexible running different machines.

Typical Shift:

6:00am - 2:30pm. Overtime when required. Compensation based on experience. New Hire Bonus - $250 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year. Benefits start the 1st of the month after 60-day probation period!
