This position operates Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM, and is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring slitting equipment used to cut laminated materials to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have previous machine operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate slitter machines according to work orders, production schedules, and customer specifications. Load and unload rolls of laminated material safely and efficiently. Adjust blades, tension, speed, and alignment to ensure accurate cuts and quality finished rolls. Inspect materials for defects such as wrinkles, bubbles, delamination, uneven edges, or incorrect dimensions. Complete production paperwork, label finished products, and maintain a clean and safe work area. Qualifications and Requirements Previous machine operation experience required; slitter, laminating, converting, packaging, printing, plastics, or film manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM . Ability to read and follow work orders, measurements, and production specifications. Basic math and measurement skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift.
