The Role We're hiring experienced Saw and Plow Operators for underground fiber optic projects in the Lubbock area. You'll run saw-cutting and plowing equipment to install fiber safely and to spec. This job is central to every project we build. What You'll Do Operate rock saws, microtrenchers, cable plows, and related underground equipment Cut and plow to the correct depth and width, and install fiber at proper tension Read and follow engineered plans, blueprints, and maps Work safely around utility locates and follow 811 / Call Before You Dig rules Do basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment, including blades and teeth Coordinate with your crew and supervisor to keep production on track What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED (required) Valid driver's license (required); CDL preferred for hauling equipment 1-3 years running a saw, microtrencher, cable plow, or similar underground equipment (preferred) Experience with fiber optic installation

OSHA 10/30

(preferred); NCCER Heavy Equipment cert (a plus) Good communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving in the field Working Conditions Outdoor work in all weather, near active roadways and job sites Physically demanding work: lifting, digging, and running equipment for long periods Some travel, extended hours, weekends, or on-call work as needed Must pass a background check and drug screen Why Parker Communications?
