gpac, a recruiting firm with 30+ years in business, is partnered with a well-established company in the structural steel and metals fabrication industry in the Eau Claire, WI area. Our client is seeking a Reality Capture Specialist to capture and process site and structure data.

STEEL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED

candidates must have experience working in a structural steel or miscellaneous/ornamental metals fabrication or erection environment.

Position Responsibilities:

• Capture site conditions using laser scanning and related tools
• Process point clouds and models
• Support detailing, engineering, and project teams
• Maintain equipment
• Deliver accurate data

Position Essential Job Functions:

• Plan and perform scans
• Register and clean point clouds
• Create models and deliverables
• Coordinate with project teams
• Document workflows

Position Skills:

• Required:

  Experience in the structural steel or metals fabrication/erection industry
• 2+ years of laser scanning or reality capture experience
• Experience with scanning and point cloud software
• Strong attention to detail
• Willingness to travel
