This position plays a critical role in preparing structures for restoration and reconstruction while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to SERVPRO standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, safety-conscious, and committed to providing excellent customer service while helping make property damage "Like it never even happened®." Essential Job Duties Perform selective demolition of drywall, flooring, cabinetry, insulation, ceilings, trim, and other building materials. Remove damaged materials while minimizing unnecessary damage to unaffected areas. Set up containment barriers and dust control systems to protect occupied areas. Load, transport, and dispose of debris in accordance with local regulations and company policies. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Assist with water mitigation, mold remediation, and emergency services as needed. Set up and remove drying equipment, air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout each project. Photograph and document work completed. Load and unload company vehicles with equipment and materials. Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition. Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and team members. Follow all OSHA, EPA, and SERVPRO safety procedures. Participate in after-hours emergency response and on-call rotation as assigned. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or project managers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Construction, demolition, restoration, or mitigation experience preferred. Ability to safely operate hand and power tools. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and customer service skills. Willingness to learn SERVPRO production processes and industry standards. Physical Requirements Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds; occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods. Comfortable working in confined spaces, attics, crawlspaces, and on ladders. Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions. Must be able to wear required PPE, including respirators, Tyvek suits, gloves, eye protection, and hard hats when necessary. Pay:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
