Manufacturing Environment OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mold Maker / Tooling Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and performance of injection molding tooling in a manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in keeping production running efficiently by ensuring molds are properly maintained, repaired, and production-ready. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, troubleshooting tooling issues, and collaborating with engineering and production teams, this is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to a stable manufacturing operation. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection molds to support production operationsWork closely with engineering, production, and tooling teams to resolve mold and molding issuesIdentify and implement solutions for complex mold problems within injection molding processesCreate and manage work orders for mold service and repairs while maintaining proper documentationVerify molds are production-ready and communicate tooling conditions to engineering and production teamsAssist in coordinating tooling repairs and improvementsTrain team members on equipment and processes within the tool repair departmentFollow company policies including ISO standards, safety procedures, and continuous improvement initiativesPerform other related duties as neededQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent5+ years of experience in mold making, mold repair, or injection mold processes strongly preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to lift up to 35 lbsBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and engineering-related softwareWork EnvironmentThis role is based in a clean manufacturing and warehouse environment with moderate to high noise levels and requires hands-on work with tooling and equipment.
