Job Description

Safety-Kleen is seeking a Utility Rep to support environmental and recycling operations for industrial, automotive, and commercial customers. In this role, you'll assist with drum and container handling, load and unload trucks, stage and label waste streams, and maintain a clean, compliant work area. You'll follow strict safety and environmental procedures, use PPE, and complete basic documentation. Working closely with drivers, technicians, and supervisors, you'll help ensure efficient service, customer satisfaction, and adherence to regulatory and company standards while gaining hands-on experience in sustainable waste management. Responsibilities Handle, move, and stage drums and containers of used oil, waste, and recyclable materials Load and unload trucks safely following OSHA and company procedures Label, segregate, and document waste streams in compliance with regulations Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse or yard area Use required PPE and follow all safety and environmental policies Assist drivers and technicians with routing, manifests, and basic paperwork Perform routine inspections of equipment and report issues promptly Support inventory counts and basic data entry for inbound and outbound materials Communicate with supervisors and team members to meet service schedules Contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives Required Skills Hazardous materials handling Forklift or material handling equipment operation Loading and unloading trucks Inventory tracking and documentation Basic mechanical aptitude Use of PPE and safety procedures Waste classification and labeling Basic computer/data entry skills Routine equipment inspection Time management in route/field work
