Job Description

About the Role As a Tooling and Mold Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-performance operation of our precision injection molding equipment. You will be responsible for the proactive maintenance, repair, and optimization of complex tooling systems, directly impacting our production efficiency and product quality standards. Responsibilities Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs by disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling precision molds to ensure peak operational readiness. Conduct detailed inspections to identify wear or damage, performing necessary repairs to minimize production downtime. Interpret complex tooling blueprints and engineering specifications to rebuild and optimize tools and dies for manufacturing feasibility. Manage the tool room environment, including inventory control for shop supplies and maintaining accurate scheduling data within our ERP system. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and improve overall tool performance. Maintain high standards of industrial safety and organization while working independently on critical fixtures and equipment. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in mold, die, or industrial tool maintenance. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and engineering drawings. Demonstrated ability to use precision measurement tools and techniques. Solid understanding of mechanical troubleshooting and critical thinking in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience navigating ERP software. Preferred Skills Technical degree in a relevant manufacturing or mechanical field. Direct experience within an injection molding production environment. Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC machining processes. Experience with
ISO 9001
quality standards and documentation.
