We are looking to bring on a cook assist our production in the Garde Manger department. This job will be located in Latham, inside our commissary kitchen. • Adhering to standards set by the Garde Manger Lead, Commissary Chef, and Chef de Cuisine
• Packaging /labeling / wrapping prepared food for retail sales markets
• Communicating with Production Manager on pars for other markets
• Following production reports to fulfill markets orders for retail food items
• Stock coolers daily for Latham market with retail items.
• Prepare basic food items using ovens, cooking pasta, and making sauces as needed. Qualifications
• Ability to multitask
• Basic Knife Skills
• Usage of Stoves, Ovens, Slicers and other relative kitchen equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
• Prior experience with quantitative cooking is not required but preferred
