Job Description

Princeton Tool Inc is seeking a CNC Milling Machinist to join our Manufacturing & Production team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC milling equipment to produce precision tooling and components for aerospace, defense, and industrial customers. You will interpret blueprints and GD&T, perform accurate setups, select tooling, adjust offsets, and verify tight-tolerance features using precision measuring instruments. Working in our quality- and safety-focused environment, you'll collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality staff to solve problems, improve processes, and meet demanding delivery requirements. This position offers hands-on experience with advanced machining technologies, opportunities for cross-training, and growth through continuous improvement as part of a technical, team-oriented culture focused on excellence and reliable customer support. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce tight-tolerance components Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions Select tools, set offsets, and verify first-piece quality Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize feeds, speeds, and tooling Maintain machine cleanliness, basic preventive maintenance, and safety compliance Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality to resolve issues Support continuous improvement, lean, and 5 S initiatives Required Skills CNC milling machine setup and operation G-code interpretation and editing Blueprint and GD&T reading Precision measurement with micrometers and calipers Tool selection and offset adjustment Fixture design and part setup In-process inspection and quality documentation Basic CNC program troubleshooting Understanding of machining speeds/feeds and materials Preventive maintenance on CNC equipment
