First Shift | Full-TimePosition Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Lathe Machinist to join a premier aerospace manufacturing facility in Fullerton, CA. In this role, you will lead complete setups, operations, and first-article inspections on high-precision CNC lathes producing critical flight-hardware components.

Key Responsibilities Perform complete setups, tool changes, offset adjustments, and teardowns on multi-axis CNC Lathes (Okuma, Haas, etc.). Set up and operate dual-spindle CNC lathes featuring live tooling capabilities. Read and interpret complex aerospace blueprints, GD&T specifications, and shop routers. Edit G-code and M-code at the machine control to optimize cycle times, prevent tool wear, and streamline production. Perform first-article and in-process quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and optical comparators. Hold tight tolerances (up to $\pm0.0002"$) on aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and exotic aerospace alloys. Troubleshoot technical machining issues and collaborate with engineering to improve manufacturability.
Qualifications Experience:
5+ years of dedicated CNC Lathe setup and operation experience in an aerospace or high-precision job shop.
Machinery:
Proven background running multi-axis lathes; live tooling and dual-spindle experience highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
strong G-code/M-code troubleshooting, tool geometry selection, and GD&T comprehension.
Inspection:
