Job Summary Scotts Valley, CA machine shop hiring Machinist with ability to program, set up, and run CNC and manual mills and lathes

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Program and operate manual and CNC machines to produce finished parts
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Use CAD/CAM software (Fusion) to generate complete NC programs
• Use metrology tools to inspect features
• Maintain a safe and orderly workspace
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and problem-solve
• Experience in 3-axis mill CAM programming
• Manual machining experience
• CNC setup and operation experience
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Preferred:

• CNC lathe CAM programming experience
• 5-axis CAM programming experience
• Fusion CAD/CAM experience

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one year of experience as a fully-qualified machinist

Physical Requirements:

• Physical ability to operate and maintain machines
• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times

Pay:

$32.00

• $40.

00 per hour
