The Role This is a hands-on manufacturing position responsible for setting up and operating CNC equipment, producing quality parts to engineering drawings and specifications, and supporting programming and process improvements as experience permits. You will work closely with company leadership and other team members to complete prototype and production work safely, efficiently, and accurately. Core Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC equipment for vertical milling, turning, mill-turn, and EDM operations as required. Select and install appropriate workholding, fixturing, and tooling for assigned jobs. Produce first article and production parts and verify conformance to drawings and specifications. Run production jobs efficiently while maintaining quality requirements. Identify programming, setup, tooling, and process issues and work with company leadership to resolve them. Make routine program edits at the control and support CNC programming activities as experience permits. Assist with process improvements and support the training of other team members as appropriate. Maintain a clean and safe working environment while prioritizing quality and customer satisfaction. Qualifications Must qualify as a U.S. Person under applicable U.S. export control regulations due to access to export-controlled technical data. 3+ years of CNC machining experience desirable, including setup and operation of CNC equipment. Demonstrated ability to read a setup package, independently set up assigned work, and produce conforming parts from engineering drawings. Fluent interpretation of engineering drawings and GD&T. Familiarity with Okuma (OSP) and Haas machines and controls preferred. Competence with precision inspection equipment and familiarity with quality management systems. Physical Requirements This position requires the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment, remain standing or moving for extended periods, and routinely handle materials, tooling, and components associated with CNC machining operations.
