Applicants should have:

A good understanding of machine theory A grasp of basic G-code/conversational programing A knowledge of speeds and feeds for machining commonly used materials The ability to read blueprints and inspection tools Experience running CNC vertical milling centers and/or CNC horizontal lathes Mastercam experience is a plus but not necessary And the capability to maintain a reasonably clean work space At Simsbury Precision Products we are always learning new machining techniques and trying to add new technologies to our facility.
