Job Type:

Full-time Join a stable, fully air-conditioned manufacturing facility in Sarasota. Coast Controls, established in 1992, offers a clean, comfortable work environment and a desirable 4-day workweek. What You'll Do Safely set up and operate manual mills, engine lathes, cut-off saws, finishing machines, and some CNC mills Read and interpret engineering blueprints, drawings, and work orders Select and install proper tooling (jaws, chucks, faceplates, arbors, centers, angle plates, cutting tools, etc.) Machine primarily aluminum and structural steel to exact print tolerances Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all safety practices Assist with process improvements and report tooling or material issues What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience operating manual mills, lathes, and related equipment Ability to accurately read blueprints and hold tight tolerances Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Reliable team player who keeps a clean workspace Why Work Here Fully air-conditioned shop
