SALARY:
$22-30 per hour (Depending on experience)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality work. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, able to read blueprints, and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. Experience operating manual and CNC machine tools is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine tools, including lathes, mills, drills, and grinders. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements. Machine, repair, and fabricate precision parts and components to required specifications and tolerances. Measure finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and indicators. Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Inspect completed work to ensure conformance with quality standards. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines and equipment. Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience as a machinist or in a manufacturing machine shop preferred. Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings. Experience using precision measuring instruments. Knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and tolerances. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work overtime and varying shifts as needed.
