The ideal candidate can independently perform setups, read blueprints, interpret GD&T, make machine offsets, and produce quality parts with minimal supervision. This is not a production button-pushing role. We are looking for true machinist who can understand machining fundamentals, can troubleshoot issues at the machine, and take ownership in their work.

Shift:

07:00AM - 3:30PM; Monday - Friday. Overtime will be available depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, routed instructions, process plans, and GD&T requirements.
Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, prove-outs and first article runs.
Make minor G&M code edits at eh machine as needed.
Use micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, thread gauges, and other precision measuring tools to inspect work.
Work with materials such as aluminum and carbon steel.
Deburr completed parts and complete required production and quality documentation.
Maintain safe, clean, and productive work practices around CNC equipment, coolants, chips, fixtures, and moving machinery.
Work closely with supervisors, quality and other machinists to hit production and quality requirements.

Qualification:

3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T required.
Strong shop math skills, including decimals, fractions, conversions, and basic geometry.
Ability to make offsets and minor G&M code edits at the machine.
High school diploma or GED required
Must be able to stand for the full shift and lift up to 50lbs

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
