Job Description

COMPANY OVERVIEW

First Shift:

Monday

•Friday, 7:00am

•3:00pm

Second Shift:

Monday

•Friday, 3:00pm

•11:00pm

Third Shift :

Sunday

•Thursday, 11:00pm

•7:00am

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Set-up and operate CNC Turret press, editing of programs, tooling maintenance, assist in the training of operators and the use of associated computer equipment. Produce good quality parts in a timely manner. Perform preventive maintenance of CNC machines

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Obtain and apply information from Work Instruction File/Travelers. Set-up and operate CNC and computer by following machine setup sheets Test and inspect equipment. Test and inspect product to blueprint specifications. Inspect product for compliance to requirements and sign-off for first piece approval. Utilizes and completes documentation requirements Understand and follow policy procedures. Prepare product for transfer to next work cell. Label and identify products in and out of cell. Perform preventative maintenance of CNC machines. Train others in respective work cell to assure good quality parts are being produced in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in other areas, as needed. Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of equipment. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED required. 1

•3 years in a manufacturing environment operating a CNC machine.

SKILLS:

Good attention to detail. Ability to operate metal fabrication equipment including surface grinders, press brakes, surface graining, and edge deburring machines. Ability to read blueprints and

GD&T. PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent sitting, walking, and standing Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling up to 10lbs. Occasional stoop, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling Occasional use of hands/fingers to grasp, pinch, and/or grip

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work performed in a production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time (for Maintenance & Receiving only). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high, in some areas.

Pay:

From $20.00 per hour
