Program CNC machines using G-code, M-code, Fanuc controls, and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming software such as SolidWorks and CAD for complex machining operations. Conduct precision measurements using measurement instruments like bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), dial indicators, and calipers to verify part dimensions and quality. Set up tooling, fixtures, and machining tools including cutters, grinders, and tooling accessories to ensure proper operation during production runs. Perform quality inspections on machined parts utilizing CNC quality inspection techniques and measurement tools to ensure compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety standards; operate forklifts and power tools as needed for material handling and setup. Requirements Proven experience operating both CNC (Fanuc or similar controls) and manual machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and drills. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code and M-code; experience with CAM software like SolidWorks or CAD is highly preferred. Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM), tooling setup, metalworking processes, and plastics injection molding is a plus. Ability to read mechanical blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings with GD&T specifications. Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of measurement techniques using micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, calipers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other precision measurement instruments. Basic math skills for calculations related to measurements, tolerances, speeds, feeds, and conversions necessary for machining tasks. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency in production workflows. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Physical ability to stand for extended periods; lift heavy materials; operate power tools safely; operate forklifts if certified; use hand tools effectively. Join our team if you are passionate about precision manufacturing!
