Job Description

  • We are Hiring!
!!!! Howell Foundry is a safety oriented, fast growing manufacturer of high quality cast steel products that service a multitude of industries including Petro Chemical, Oil and Gas, Paper, and energy production through the use of the latest 3D Scanning and Printing Technology!!! Our products are highly complex and are produced in more than 40 different alloys. Howell Foundry has an immediate need to fill positions in a brand new CNC machine shop . Applicants must be willing and able to work various shifts, physical, aptitude exam, drug test, lift 50 pounds, and have graduated from high school or obtained a GED. The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machining equipment to produce precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. This position requires strong machining fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to consistently produce quality parts while maintaining safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is experienced in CNC machining, understands tooling and machining processes, and can independently troubleshoot machining and quality issues.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
include:
  • Ability to independently set up and operate CNC machining equipment.
  • Working knowledge of CNC programming, G-code/M-code, tooling, workholding, speeds and feeds, and general machining practices.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T, tolerances, dimensions, and surface finish requirements.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and basic shop mathematics.
  • Ability to identify and correct machining and dimensional problems.
  • Experience operating overhead cranes, hoists, forklifts, and material-handling equipment.
  • Strong attention to quality and ability to work independently or as part of a team Attention to detail with the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions is a must.
