B&R Machine, Inc is becoming a leader in CNC milling industry providing manufacturing solutions to an array of industries (commercial, aerospace, firearms and more) with more than 50 employees. Growing manufacturing company in Ludlow, Massachusetts is looking for Machine Operators at Entry Level for Second Shift. Willing to train if you have the commitment to learn for future advancements. We are looking for individuals with good work ethic, excellent attendance, and the desire to produce quality products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machines to expected production rates and record daily production
• Ability to maintain the designated production requirements while working at highly repetitive routine tasks
• Monitor machine tool efficiency
• Have basic understanding of blueprints
• Assess quality to maintain dimensional part accuracy using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety guidelines and procedures
• Package and label parts accordingly
• Properly record and tag bad or questionable parts
• Deburr parts accordingly using files, deburring knives, wire wheels, etc.
• Keep machine clean and free of chips/dispose of chips in proper bins
• Ability to work independently, without distraction
• Adhere to quality management standards and procedures
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position as irregular attendance and unscheduled absences would create an undue hardship to the business
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

• Good attention to detail
• Excellent visual ability
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs

Full-time M - Th 5:30 pm to 6am 48 - 53 hours per week
