The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with machining, assembly, and equipment maintenance. This role involves operating manual machines, lathes, and mills. Also, interpreting blueprints, and performing precision measurements to ensure high-quality production standards. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing technologies in a dynamic environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to produce precise components. Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions. Maintain and troubleshoot machinery, including welding, tooling setup, and basic electrical or mechanical repairs. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and tooling equipment for assembly and fabrication tasks. Ensure safety protocols are adhered to during all machining and maintenance activities. Operate forklifts safely for material handling within the manufacturing environment. Experience Proven experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing setting. Strong understanding of GD&T principles and blueprint reading skills. Familiarity with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to machining tolerances and measurements. Hands-on experience with welding, assembly, tooling setup, and basic electrical or mechanical repairs is advantageous. Experience with hydraulic cylinders is a plus Familiarity with Prototrak & Millpower controls
