Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC 5-Axis Setup Machinist position include: 5+ years of CNC setup experience, including strong 5-axis/multi-axis milling setup background. Set up CNC 5-axis and multi-axis milling machines for production. Read and work with G-code, geometric tolerancing, and precision machining requirements. Perform complex machine setups involving large tooling configurations (primarily Matsuura equipment, including MAM72 machines). Ensure setups support accurate, efficient production of tight-tolerance components. Troubleshoot setup-related issues and apply strong hands-on machining knowledge. Maintain quality standards in a precision manufacturing environment. Work closely with machinists and engineers to support production requirements (programming/editing knowledge is beneficial; engineering generally handles programming).

Salary:

$30-$38 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated skill.
