• Typical daily duties:
• + Set up, program (at the machine or offline), and operate CNC lathes, mills, and/or manual machines to produce precision components + Machine complex parts to close tolerances using blueprints, GD&T, routers, and work instructions + Perform first‑piece, in‑process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, indicators) + Edit and optimize G‑code, adjust offsets, tooling, and feeds/speeds to maintain quality and efficiency + Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with engineering and quality teams as needed + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all safety and quality standards •What we're looking for:•+ 3-5+ years of hands‑on machining experience (CNC and/or Manual) in a manufacturing environment + Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings + Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar) and/or large‑diameter lathes preferred + Solid understanding of cutting tools, materials, fixturing, and machining processes + High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or apprenticeship strongly preferred + Self‑starter mindset with strong attention to detail, quality, and continuous improvement •To be considered for these•Machinist jobs (CNC & Manual) in Westbrook•,•please contact us•using any of the methods below.
