Job Description

THE ROLE
: As the Machine Builder you will perform detailed and repetitive plumbing, mechanical, and basic electromechanical assembly tasks with precision and consistency. This role requires careful handling of sensitive components and the use of fine motor skills to complete complex assemblies in a timely and accurate manner. The assembler must follow standardized procedures and safety protocols while maintaining a consistent pace and high-quality output. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to craftsmanship are essential, as the work directly impacts the functionality and reliability of the final product. May also assist in identifying process improvements and ensuring compliance with quality control standards.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Assembles and/or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination. Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence. May assemble minor variations of in-house standard products Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, pvc thermal welding and thread taping Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures Completes required documentation related to production Maintains equipment and area in clean safe condition Handle internal and external customer needs and expectations as required Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality. Successfully completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality. Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years of manufacturing and plumbing experience or related training Experience reading blueprints Must have mechanical aptitude Ability to communicate and work well with others Ability to operate power/hand tools Be capable of working from and understanding blueprints Be capable of comprehending both written and oral instructions Working knowledge of computers Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office suite Ability to work independently
