Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

One of our clients is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up, programming, and operating CNC vertical milling machines to produce precision parts.

ResponsibilitiesSet up, program, and operate 3-axis CNC vertical mills, preferably Haas machines.

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job specifications.

Program and edit G-code as needed.

Set up and select appropriate tooling, fixtures, speeds, feeds, and cutting parameters.

Machine raw materials into precision finished components while maintaining required tolerances.

Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.

Understand and work with GD&T and close tolerances.

Perform in-process quality checks and make necessary machine or program adjustments.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Follow established safety and quality procedures.

QualificationsExperience as a CNC Mill Machinist, CNC Setup Machinist, CNC Programmer, or CNC Operator with setup experience.

Strong experience with 3-axis vertical CNC milling machines.

Experience with Haas CNC machines is preferred.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

Knowledge of G-code programming and editing.

Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerances, tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds.

Proficiency using precision measuring instruments.

Experience machining a variety of materials.

Experience with tool probing and part probing is a plus.

Familiarity with Inventor CAM and/or AutoCAD is a plus.

Must have basic machinist hand tools.

ScheduleThis is a full-time position with an extended work schedule, including weekday and Saturday hours.
