Read blueprints, routing instructions, and work orders to manufacture precision cutting tools. Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment. Monitor tooling, machine performance, and production rates while maintaining quality standards. Verify gauges and measuring equipment are properly calibrated before use. Complete production and quality documentation accurately within the ERP system. Communicate production, tooling, and quality concerns to support an efficient workflow. Follow all company safety, quality, and ISO procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Five or more years of CNC lathe machining experience. Experience performing CNC lathe setups. Experience reading, editing, and troubleshooting G-code programs. Familiarity with CAM-generated programs (Mastercam or similar). Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment and perform detailed visual inspections of finished products.
