CNC Lathe Setup Machinist Pay:

Competitive, Based on Experience Join a Precision Manufacturing Team We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Machinist to join our growing manufacturing operation. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern CNC equipment, manufacture high-quality precision components, and contribute to a team dedicated to craftsmanship and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision-machined components Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets to ensure accurate production Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments Verify dimensional accuracy and quality requirements throughout the machining process Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency Perform routine machine maintenance and basic preventative upkeep Operate mills and other shop equipment as needed Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of CNC lathe setup and operating experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic Preferred Experience Experience with Doosan and Puma CNC lathes CNC mill setup and operation experience Fabrication or mechanical assembly experience Experience working in high-mix, low-volume or fast-paced manufacturing environments Knowledge of tooling selection, machine offsets, and process optimization Why Join Our Team?
