To learn more, visit us at www.cmandw.com. CM&W is looking for a Machinist at our Hannibal, MO, location. The Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies while following customer and company policies and procedures. Pay range is $22.00 - $32.00 per hour depending on qualifications.
What You'll Do:
Set up and operate precision equipment needed to manufacture tools and machine parts using work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, specifications, or drawings. Set up components such as switches, tool registers and offsets and programs computerized equipment to adjust for job specifications. Inspect and test finished products. Inspect manufactured tools or parts to ensure they meet all required specifications and complete all required inspection documentation / reports. Create programming documentation. When creating or modifying equipment programming, outline all steps in the step-by-step processes followed in programming the equipment for specific jobs. Troubleshoot productions problems either through knowledge or engaging other experienced team members through resolution.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent. Relevant technical school degree or certificate preferred. Basic knowledge of CNC Machining. Basic computer knowledge. 2 years of experience required.
