If you take pride in setting up multi-axis Swiss automatic lathes (Citizen, Star, Tsugami), mastering bar feeders and guide bushings, and turning raw brass and alloy stock into flawless, high-precision components, we want to hear from you. $52,000 - $62,400 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30
PMeducation:
High SchoolResponsibilities Setup & Production Start-Up:
Perform full machine setups on multi-axis CNC Swiss screw machines, including loading bar feeders, installing guide bushings, collets, turning tools, and live tooling.
Operation & Control:
Execute high-volume production runs using Fanuc or Mitsubishi controls according to engineering prints, job routers, and process sheets.
Offset & Program Adjustments:
Load G-code/M-code programs, set tool geometry and work offsets, adjust feeds/speeds, and perform minor control-side program edits to optimize cycle times.
Quality & Micro-Inspection:
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final part inspections using micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, thread gauges, and pin gauges for micro-tolerances.
Tooling Maintenance:
Monitor guide bushing adjustments, inspect for tool wear, perform tool inserts/regrinds, and manage chip evacuation and oil/coolant levels.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose shift-start alignment issues, chatter, burring, or dimensional drift to ensure zero-defect output.
