(Cary, NC) About Us 101 Machine Inc. is a fast-paced, high-mix machine shop serving the automation, medical, and prototype industries. We are committed to producing high‑quality, complex components with a focus on responsive service, precision, and consistency. Position Summary We're looking for an experienced, self-sufficient Machinist who is comfortable running both CNC and manual equipment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a small shop, works independently, and is capable of efficiently completing projects from setup to finished part. We are hiring for both full and part time positions. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes and mills Accurately interpret engineering drawings and

GD&T CNC

Programming using GibbsCAM Work with Fanuc, Fadal, and Prototrak controls Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, indicators, gauges, etc.) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Collaborate with a small team to meet deadlines and solve challenges Qualifications Proven experience in a job shop environment (3+ years preferred) Manual machining experience and proficiency CNC machining experience (setup, operation, programming) Familiarity with GibbsCAM (or comparable CAM software) Experience with Fanuc, Fadal, and Prototrak controls Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to occasionally lift 50+ lbs High school diploma or equivalent Schedule Full Time or Part Time available Monday-Friday Standard hours: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM (flexible start/end times available) Overtime available when justified by workload Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Retirement plan (IRA) PTO and paid Holidays Insurance benefits available upon request
