This position is responsible for performing welding in the fabrication, repair and maintenance of equipment parts, structures and other items as assigned. 1st shift schedule Mon-Fri, 7am-5:30pm. Pay $21+/hour

DOE Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately set up and operate the Stamtec Press, Press Brake and/or Floor Machine for routine established work
• Load, install and correctly set up the tools required; including computer set-up
• Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications
• Safely operate forklift and other equipment to handle materials and completed work
• Operate hand & power tools, and other equipment as required to complete projects
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics to determine appropriate welding process
• Operate manual and automated welding units and equipment
• Assist other team members to get job done, as well as other duties as assigned Working hours: 7:00 AM

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year experience in machine operation and welding is required
• Competent at basic dimensional measuring and math; as well as the ability to quickly learn the use of precision measurement tools
