This role offers variety across metal, insulation board, and plastic components, with the opportunity to work independently and contribute directly to high-quality finished products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up, operate, and program CNC mills and lathes using G-code to produce precision components from blueprints and CAD drawings. Read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings to complete component and subassembly work. Lay out parts and perform drilling, tapping, reaming, cutting, and other machining operations as required. Inspect completed parts with calipers, verniers, micrometers, and gauges to confirm dimensional accuracy and tight tolerances. Support assembly of mechanical components such as air cylinders, ball nut assemblies, cross-feed assemblies, and related equipment. Maintain CNC equipment and work areas in accordance with established maintenance and housekeeping procedures. Work effectively as part of a team while handling assigned work with limited supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Hands-on CNC machining experience, including setup, operation, and programming of mills and/or lathes. Working knowledge of G-code and ability to manufacture parts from blueprints and CAD drawings. Strong mechanical drawing and blueprint-reading skills. Experience using precision measuring tools including calipers, verniers, micrometers, and gauges. Ability to drill, tap, ream, cut, and prepare parts for assembly. Pipe threading machine and TIG/MIG welding experience is a plus. Dependable, team-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
