Monick Machining is looking for a skilled Machinist to operate a CNC Machine. You will use your skills to ensure that production processes run efficiently and effectively. A machinist must be well-versed in manual and automated machinery and able to accurately assemble parts. They must have great attention to detail and manual dexterity as well as high school diploma or equivalent. The goal is to contribute to the smooth operation of production lines by ensuring their maintenance and maintenance work.

Pay:

Starting at $25.00 per hour, with the potential for a higher rate based on experience and qualifications. Essential Duties Engage in the daily activities of the job, including but not limited to: Inspect raw materials for quality assurance Run CNC Lathes, Mills, Saws, and more Adjust the speed or operation of precision machinery for optimum performance Adjust or change settings on precision machinery (e.g. grinders, lathes, drills, presses etc.) Perform routine maintenance on precision machinery (e.g. disassemble and inspect parts) Keep machines clean and organized Help maintain safe and healthy working conditions in the shop Skills Proven experience as Machinist or similar role Experience with precision machinery and in using measuring equipment (e.g. micrometers, calipers, height gauges etc.) Basic understanding of theory and procedures followed when using measuring equipment Basic math skills (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication etc.) Ability to follow instructions and understand concepts clearly Good hand-eye coordination and physical condition Good communication skills (written, oral) Good physical condition with strong desire to work overtime
