Overview:

Winn Mfg Inc. in Granville, NY is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. We do a variety of work from production, to custom job shop work. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. We are a fast-paced shop that is looking for someone who can be self sufficient in setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Duties:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining tasks.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine the machining process
• Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
• Knowledge of manual machining is a plus
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
• Knowledge of fixture design and building is a plus but not required.
• Cut stock in horizontal band saw

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
• Familiarity with tooling and milling machines
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to safely operate power tools
• Not a requirement but a plus if able to write, read, edit, and understand G code programs Phone interview will be the first step, followed by an in person interview.

Pay is based on experience and skills.
