Machinist We are seeking a dependable and motivated individual in the Cortland, OH area to join our team as a Machinist. This is a contract position with an immediate need for someone eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with industrial machinery in a stable setting. The right candidate will have a mechanical aptitude, be willing to learn new skills, and be comfortable reading micrometers and other precision measurement tools. Shift:

3:00 PM - 3:00 AM (Monday-Thursday)

Pay:

$20.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate and monitor the machinery involved in the manufacturing process Set up and adjust machines as needed for production Use micrometers and other precision tools to check product dimensions Inspect finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and production requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Troubleshoot basic machine issues and notify supervisors of any concerns Work independently while maintaining high productivity and quality standards

Minimum Requirements:

Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to learn and operate industrial machinery Experience reading micrometers required Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to work on-site in Cortland, Ohio Nice to

Have Skills:

Prior experience with industrial grinding or machining

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred Manufacturing or technical training a plus

Other Requirements:

Ability to work a 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM, Monday-Thursday schedule On-site work environment
