Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machinist/General Utility to join our Machine Shop team. We are looking for a person who is capable or reading and editing programs and analyzing and optimizing machine conditions; can read blueprints and use measuring tools to inspect and work on the machine.
Tasks include:
Perform start/stop procedures including, but not limited to: machine and conveyor startup, loading of raw material and machine shutdown. Perform advanced changes, adjustments and set-up tooling. Complete records and forms, both electronic and paper using E2 software Check machine parts visually and dimensionally according to quality standards. Clean chips from tooling, machine areas and parts. Recognize and make corrections to program/equipment to ensure part specifications are met. Verifies dimension and part quality thereafter. Performs part changeovers within setup targets. Performs daily, weekly and monthly machine maintenance. Troubleshoot for nonconformance, tooling and process control. Shares information with machine shop management. Reports daily production shift data to Machine Shop Administrator. Requirements High school diploma or GED. Ability read blueprints; can use measuring tools to inspect work 1-3 years of general machine operations - mills and lathes Join our team today if you're passionate about precision manufacturing! Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
