The ideal candidate will have a strong background in an aerospace machine shop environment. Candidates with CNC machining experience in aerospace or medical manufacturing will also be considered. Machinists will operate and set up precision grinding equipment and must be comfortable learning new machinery, including Yusak grinding machines. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and precision grinding machinery. Perform machine offsets and make adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy. Change and replace cutting/grinding tooling as required. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications. Inspect finished parts using appropriate precision measuring equipment. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during production. Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues. Maintain consistent quality and production standards in a high-precision manufacturing environment. Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Work effectively in a 24/7 manufacturing operation and support overtime requirements. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional machining experience. Strong preference for candidates from an aerospace machine shop environment. CNC machining experience in aerospace or medical manufacturing is highly relevant. Proven ability to independently set up, run, perform offsets, and change tooling. Experience working with tight tolerances and precision components. Ability and willingness to learn new grinding equipment and processes. Strong and consistent employment history. Must be able to provide a recent manager/supervisor reference. Must be willing and able to work 50-60 hours per week. Must understand that all hours over 40 per week are paid at 1.5x overtime. Must be able to work the agreed-upon shift consistently.
