In this role, you will be responsible for precisely cutting, shaping, and finishing materials to meet production specifications using a variety of advanced machinery and tools. Your expertise will ensure high-quality components are produced efficiently, adhering to safety standards and technical drawings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment where precision and craftsmanship are valued. Responsibilities Operate CNC machining equipment such as CNC lathes, milling machines, and press brake machines to shape metal or plastic components according to technical drawings and specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and production documents accurately to determine machining requirements. Set up and calibrate machinery including CNC programming, CAM programming, and tooling adjustments for optimal performance. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Handle materials safely using appropriate materials handling techniques and tools like forklifts when necessary. Conduct quality control checks throughout the machining process to ensure parts meet strict tolerances and specifications. Maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with safety standards in production environments. Assist with fabrication tasks, assembly, packaging, and other related duties as needed to support manufacturing operations. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, or flexo presses within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with shop math, basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations in machining processes. Hands-on experience with tooling setup, machine operation, calibration, and industrial equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to read and interpret production documents and technical specifications confidently. Experience working with precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and understanding GD&T principles is highly desirable. Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred; familiarity with packaging procedures is a plus.
