Manual Lathe Machinist DeSHAZO, LLC $30.00 / hr paid holidays, 401(k) United States, Texas, Azle Jul 31, 2026 Apply Description We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team. This role requires hands-on experience operating a LeBlond manual lathe and machining large components ranging from 48" to 60" in size. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of producing high-quality work while maintaining efficiency. Shift - 1st or 2nd both are available, you can pick
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate LeBlond manual lathe to machine large parts (48"-60") Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Perform measurements and inspections using precision measuring tools Select appropriate tooling and calculate speeds/feeds Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work area clean Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Preferred Qualifications:
Additional manual machining experience (mills, grinders, etc.) Shop math knowledge and understanding of tolerances Prior experience in a manufacturing or repair environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, move, or position heavy materials with assistance/equipment Standing for extended periods Working in a shop environment Salary Description $30.00 per hour
